Mother Tongue
This little book features photographs from our family garden in Vienna. Embedded in the centre spread is my grandmother dancing with her children. The book envelope contains the German version of 'Ring-a-ring o' roses', and the custom made book envelope is stitched with red thread. Photographs featured inside Mother Tongue are from old colour slides. They were taken by my grandfather, circa 1943.
